Running on 64-Bit Windows System

Symptom:  After installing Greeting Card Designer for Adobe Photoshop, Windows version, you are unable to see the one-click panels in the Windows > Extensions menu.

Explanation:
The Greeting Card actions are developed in a 32-bit environment but you should have no problem running the actions or panels in a 64-bit system.

My understanding is that in a 64-bit system, Windows creates two Program Files directory paths, one for the 32-bit programs and one for the 64 bit code.  The installation program will install panels in the default Program Files path which is the 32-bit path.  Actions are also installed in the 32-bit path but they are loaded into Photoshop regardless of the bit depth of the system.

Because of this, the actions should be loaded in the Actions palette but if you ever go look for them again, you'll need to look in the 32-bith path.

Solution:

There are two solutions I can see.  You can either manually go in and move the panels files over to the appropriate directory or install them using Adobe Extension Manager.

Manually:  To manually move them, open My Computer and follow the directory path to find the panels...

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-ins\Panels\...

Copy or move the "Create Cards" and "Modify Cards" folders and place them in the same location in the 64-bit path.  (NOTE:  Use this only if you installed from the updated "V45a" copy of the installation code)

Using Adobe Extension Manager:
Download the two files in the left column and extract them to your desktop.  Once downloaded, simply double click them - the Extension Manager will open and install them into Photoshop.
