To find your Greeting Card Effects, you must look in the Effects panel. Be sure to click on the Photo Effects (the icon in the circle) and select Greeting Card from the drop down menu.
If you can't find them .....
First Things First...
- Make sure that you are looking in the right place. On the panels on the right side of your screen you’ll see “Effects”. Be sure that the Effects Panel is expanded. (the triangle next to the work effects is pointed down. (See illustration at left)
- Directly under the word “Effects” you’ll find four icons. Be sure the third icon is selected. It is the icon for Photo Effects.
- In the Select a Type drop down menu, select Greeting Cards.
- If you still can’t find the icons then there must have been some problem installing the program.
To fix this problem you simply delete two file that Photoshop Elements uses to index all the installed effects. Once deleted, you restart Photoshop Elements. When the program starts up, it will rebuild the database files.
