Depending upon the version you purchased, your install file may be packaged in a compressed Zip file.  If so, unzip the file and place the install routine on your desktop.  Double click on the install file and follow the onscreen directions.

Mac Users

For you Mac users, at the end of the install routine, two Finder windows will open, each with a different file highlighted.  These are cache files that must be deleted so be sure to move them both to the trash.  If you didn't follow the directions and didn't delete these files, then the effects will not show up in Photoshop.  If this is the case, see Post Installation Problems.

NOTES ABOUT THE INSTALLATION

The first time you start the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor after installing the Greeting Card files, the program mustrebuild a special file that tells the program what effects are loaded.  This may take a few moments and while it is processing you won’t see any effects listed in the Effects Palette.  Don’t interrupt this process.
